About
Environmental Compliance and Ecological Design
AquaHab Environmental Services is run by Will Daniels, an aquatic biologist based in Lunenburg County. AquaHab helps property owners, developers, and engineers meet Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), Nova Scotia Environment and Climate Change (NSECC), and municipal requirements for projects near water.
Will has more than a decade of experience in Nova Scotia's freshwater ecosystems, including eight years leading fish passage work with the Nova Scotia Salmon Association. He is certified in wetland delineation and the Wetland Ecosystem Services Protocol for Atlantic Canada (WESP-AC), holds NSECC Watercourse Alteration Installer, Sizer, and Fish Habitat Installer certifications, and is a certified electrofisher and licensed drone pilot.
